Sending Email in MATLAB

Things under legendu.net/outdated are outdated technologies that the author does not plan to update any more. Please look for better alternatives.
It is very easy to send emails in MATLAB.
To do this, you can just call sendmail.
However,
usually you need to set preference for sending emails using setpref first.
Here is one example:
